ANGLETON, Texas — Did you buy a Lotto Texas ticket in Brazoria County for Monday’s drawing? If so, you may be an instant multimillionaire.
According to the Texas Lottery, a jackpot-winning ticket worth an estimated $26.75 million was sold at a Murphy USA at 1803 N. Velasco St. in Angleton.
The winning ticket, which was a Quick Pick, matched all six numbers, which were 15-16-25-28-38-53.
The cash value option was picked when it was bought and whoever comes forward to claim the big payday will get $14,303,717.61 before taxes.

The person who bought the ticket hasn’t come forward yet, and has 180 days from the drawing date to do so or else the massive jackpot will be forfeited.
Courtney Arbour with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has advice if you’re the one who bought that winning ticket.
“If that ticket is sitting on your counter, sign it right away, keep it safe, and consider reaching out to a financial advisor before coming to claim your prize,” she said in a news release sent out Tuesday. “We can’t wait to celebrate this huge win with you.”
It may be a big win for the Murphy USA store, too. The store is eligible for a $25,000 bonus for just selling the ticket.
After Monday’s win, the jackpot goes back down to $5 million. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:12 p.m.
