- The “One Philly: Unity Concert for America” on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway resumed at around 12:45 a.m. Sunday after the concert was delayed for hours due to severe weather. The Roots performed for about an hour before the fireworks show.
- The full concert lineup initially included Christina Aguilera, Meek Mill, Jill Scott, the Roots with special guests Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kathy Sledge, State Property featuring Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Young Gunz and Peedi Crakk, Jordan Davis, Seal and Infinity Song.
- The celebration was hosted by Wanda Sykes and included appearances by Gillie Da King, Wallo 267 and more.
- The concert was delayed at around 8:40 p.m. due to severe storms and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway was evacuated.
- Around 11:30 p.m., the city and a promoter confirmed that the show will resume at midnight with a performance by the Roots as well as fireworks.
- Before the concert was delayed, Infinity Song, Seal, Jordan Davis and Jill Scott all performed. A promoter confirmed the Roots will perform at midnight but did not reveal if Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kathy Sledge, State Property and Meek Mill will perform with them.
