ARLINGTON, Texas — Six Flags, which is the parent company of Cedar Point and Kings Island here in Ohio, has been getting a lot of attention across social media in recent days after teasing an announcement that’s coming this week on Tuesday morning.
While Six Flags has not revealed any official details, the company sent 3News the following tease, saying it’s “a move that will turn heads across the amusement industry and reinforce Six Flags’ position as the home of world-class thrills.”
So what could this big announcement actually be? Will it impact Cedar Point or Kings Island? Could it be a different park within the company? Six Flags says the details will be revealed at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
“Stay tuned,” Six Flags teased. “More details to come.”
Six Flags currently operates 20 amusement parks — including Cedar Point in Sandusky.
