What is ‘S.W.A.T. Exiles’ about?
Here’s the setup: A mission went sideways, someone died, and Hondo took the fall. He’s been in forced retirement, his career seemingly over. But Commander Hicks throws him a lifeline: come back and lead a new S.W.A.T. unit made up of recruits the department has passed over. These aren’t your typical rising stars—they’re the ones with red flags in their files, the ones who’ve been rejected or overlooked. And honestly? The brass isn’t expecting this experiment to work. They’ve paired a “disgraced has-been” (Hondo’s words) with a group of misfits, and the expectation seems to be that they’ll all fail together.
