dpOlivia Miles has brought her own style to the WNBA. Not only in the way she plays, but also in the way she shows up on the court: her hair, the goggles. It feels like the league is adapting to her and not the other way around.
Olivia was still in college when I first met her, but I was immediately struck by her self-confidence. There’s an air of wisdom about her that is beyond her years. She’s always known exactly who she is as a person and a player.
She has had such an impressive first year in the WNBA that you can imagine her having great individual success; you can imagine her winning championships. What’s fun is that we get to watch her do it all in real time. Olivia is only just beginning to scratch the surface.
