dpHigh Potential has always toed the line between the will-they-won’t-they dynamic of LAPD consultant Morgan Gillory (Kaitlin Olson) and her partner, detective Karadec (Daniel Sunjata), but could Season 3 open the door for a whole new version of his character?
While Morgan’s always thinking outside the box, Karadec is working inside the lines most of the time, rarely letting his carefully placed facade slip, but a new behind-the-scenes video posted by the actor has fans wondering if we’ll see a more laid-back version of him. The actor posted the video to Instagram, and it features him on set, sitting in the front of a police car, singing along to music.
Although this is more likely Sunjata enjoying a moment between filming scenes, we can’t help but wonder if fans are in for a surprising new version of him.
“Now we gotta see Morgan and Karadec jamming out to some music in the car!” one fan commented on the video.
Meanwhile, another wrote, “We need a Karadec jam session after a tense scene!”
“What Karadec does on break,” another fan joked.
And another wrote, “We’ll all be rocking and rolling when season 3 starts. Good luck with filming!”
We’re sure it will take more than music to break Karadec’s old patterns, but as fans saw in Season 2, there was a softening between him and Morgan. Perhaps Season 3 will make way for even more, especially as we await word on the fate of Captain Wagner (Steve Howey), who was brutally stabbed in a dark park during the finale’s closing moments.
