A $4 million scratch ticket bought in Braintree was turned in by the Braintree Plumbers Trust of Philadelphia on June 18.
The trust was represented by Robert Cirafice who chose to receive the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Fabulous Fortune” scratch ticket game’s grand prize in the form of a one-time payment of $2.6 million before taxes.
The winning ticket was bought at the Red Apple Market located at 267 Quincy Ave. in Braintree. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Cirafice is the second of three grand prizes available, meaning one $4 million winning ticket has yet to be claimed.
