dpInstant delivery app DoorDash is down for thousands of users on Sunday afternoon, according to DownDetector. Users report getting a “something went wrong” error message while trying to access delivery services on DoorDash.
On DownDetector, which tracks such outages based on users’ reports, around 6000 users are reporting issues with DoorDash.
According to DownDetector, users reported a variety of issues, including the “something went wrong” and “unexpected error try again” later messages.

However, most of the users reported that these problems occurred when they were trying to check out their shopping carts. 38% said that the app was not working problem, while 17% reported problems with ordering.
As of now, DoorDash has not issued an official update, even as hundreds of users of the popular instant-delivery platform complained online about errors when ordering. No replies are being sent out via the DoorDash Help X account, tasked with handling users’ complaints on the platform.
Frustrated Users Complain About Issues
Hundreds of frustrated DoorDash users took to social media to express frustration over the outage. DoorDash has approximately 56 million monthly active users, of whom close to 60% are based in the United States.
Many of them appeared on X to complain about the issues on Sunday afternoon.
“DoorDash is acting up. Am I going to have to cook for myself tonight? OMG,” wrote one user.
“Door Dash are you all experiencing any issues in the Raleigh North Carolina area?” added one. “We keep trying to put an order through and we keep getting an error message. Tried it on two different phones.”
“DoorDash took anyone else’s money tonight with a b.s “error” or just mine?” said one.
“DoorDash fix your damn wonky a** app. Im trying to feed my family,” wrote one angry user.
“DoorDash what’s going on? I’m hungry and about to starve now 😭,” added another.
“How long is this gonna go on DoorDash ???? I need my food lol,” said one.
