We’re off to a steamy start this morning with humidity building back into the area and the threat of storms with damaging wind and downpours leading to flash flooding returning for our area today.
We’ve issued a First Alert for this afternoon and this evening for all neighborhoods, which could experience heavy rain with those strong storms leading to flash flooding.
Damaging winds are also possible as some storms could turn severe.
It’ll be steamy all day with high humidity helping to fuel showers and thunderstorms. High of 84° this afternoon will feel like 90° in Philadelphia.
A hotter day tomorrow with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of isolated strong storms Friday, tapping into the humid conditions. Some neighborhoods could experience downpours again Friday.
The severe storm and flood threat is not as great Friday afternoon as it is today, but we are watching the storm potential closely.
Saturday could see some lingering showers in the morning, but we will see some breaks of sunshine with skies turning partly sunny Saturday afternoon and a high of 84°.
A great day Sunday, partly sunny and 85°.
Another nice day Monday at 85° with humidity coming down for both days, should be some nice summer days.
Temperatures start climbing Tuesday into the 90s, the first of a string of 90° days that continue into next weekend.
