LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Today is a WAVE Weather Alert Day.
After 10 AM, northeast of Louisville, some strong storms are possible. Between 2 and 5 PM, additional clusters of strong storms develop near I-64; damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes are potential threats. Rounds of strong storms continue this evening before pushing south by 10 PM.
Tonight’s cold front will usher in cooler, less humid air into the region; expect lows in the 60s.
Tomorrow will be a drier, less humid day behind the cold front, with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected on Wednesday.
Abnormally cool air really takes over Wednesday night. Lows fall into the 50s and low 60s beneath mostly clear to partly cloudy skies.
Cooler, less humid conditions linger through the end of the workweek; expect highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.
