Impact day: Tornado warning issued in Clermont County, severe storms in area
CINCINNATI —
Strong storms are pushing through the Greater Cincinnati, with warnings issued around the area.

A TORNADO WARNING is in effect for Clermont, Clinton, Highland and Brown counties until 3:45 p.m. A TORNADO WARNING is also in effect for Gallatin, Grant, Owen and Carroll counties until 3:45 p.m.
A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Hamilton County until 5:45 p.m.

The primary threat is damaging winds, but lightning, hail, and quick spin-ups are all possibilities. Heavy rain and locally high water is also a potential concern for some.

Once the cold front moves through by Tuesday evening, rain and storms will clear out with drier weather ahead for the rest of the week, along with cooler September-like air.
