There’s a large police presence at a home day care in Hopkins, Minnesota, on Wednesday. An officer blocking the scene told FOX 9 reporter Corin Hoggard that the scene is “very volatile.” It appears police are trying to reunify families with children at the daycare.
What we know:
A detective confirmed to FOX 9 over the phone that there was an active scene at a Brown Bear Daycare on the 200 block of Tyler Avenue North. The FOX 9 crew at the scene is reporting there is a large police presence in the area.
A police news conference is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on the incident. FOX 9 will carry that live on-air and online.
