dpWAYNESBORO, Va. (WVIR) – Students are being evacuated from Westwood Elementary School in Waynesboro.
Waynesboro Police Department says it is managing an emergency situation at the school and Augusta County Sheriff’s Office says the incident is contained and secure.
The school division will being conducting a reunification of students and families at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Augusta County Sheriff Donald Smith says the students are safe and to not respond to the school, needing to keep access for buses and emergency vehicles clear.
