dpJust two months ago, Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce officially got married in New York City’s Madison Square Garden. However, as Kelce prepares for the upcoming NFL season, it sounds like Swift is now feeling his absence a bit.
According to a recent report, Taylor Swift “has struggled” in the weeks that have followed their high-profile wedding, as the couple has not gotten much quality time together while he prepares for the upcoming NFL season.
‘It’s harder now that they’re married’
Throughout their relationship, it has not been uncommon for Kelce and Swift to spend a lot of time apart. During the 2024 season, Swift was on the road for her record-breaking Eras Tour while Kelce spent the season in the United States with the Chiefs.
However, according to a report from The Daily Mail, Kelce’s absence at training camp has been a bit harder on Swift after they got married last month, as the outlet reported that she “has struggled” without having him around to spend quality time together.
“It’s harder now that they are married because she wants more, for sure. It is understandable,” a source told The Daily Mail. “They have been married almost two months, but she has not seen him a ton. She misses their morning workout sessions and cooking together
“She loves having her hunky man by her side, holding her hand and opening doors for her, watching out for her. He makes her feel not just loved, but also protected. She is so madly in love that she wants to spend more time with Travis.”
Kelce Prepares for NFL Season
After mulling retiement following the end of last season, Kelce is back for the Chiefs in what could be his final season in the league, and he’s hoping to make the most of it.
Kelce is coming off of the two worst seasons of his career statistically and the Chiefs suffered a disappointing fate last season, missing the playoffs entirely after making it to the Super Bowl each of the previous two seasons. Obviously, the Chiefs and Kelce each have some work to do if they’re going to get back to their previous heights.
The Chiefs begin the season at home on Sept. 14 as they play host to the Denver Broncos. We’ll have to see whether or not Swift will be in the stands cheering on her husband.
