CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Guardians will try to bounce back from Monday’s 6-4 loss when they face the Orioles on Tuesday at Camden Yards. Right-hander Tanner Bibee is coming off a rough outing against Toronto in which he allowed five runs and matched a career high with five walks in four-plus innings, but he tossed six scoreless innings against Baltimore on April 17 and owns a 3.65 ERA in four career starts against the Orioles.
Brandon Young has allowed at least one home run in four straight starts, seven total over that stretch, including three runs in 6 2/3 innings Thursday against Boston.
Cleveland enters three games behind the White Sox in the AL Central but still holding the third AL wild-card spot, one game ahead of Toronto after the Blue Jays lost Monday night. Coby Mayo homered twice for Baltimore Monday, while the Guardians rallied late on Nathaniel Lowe’s three-run, pinch-hit homer.
