dpTime to get back to The Pitt, as HBO Max has released first-look images of Season 3 along with the trailer.
The series starring Noah Wyle is expected to premiere its third season in January 2027.
Season 3 of the medical drama will see Wyle reprise his role as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch alongside Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Dr. Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Javadi), Ayesha Harris (Dr. Ellis), Sepideh Moafi (Dr. Al-Hashimi), Shawn Hatosy (Dr. Abbot).

The Pitt is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America, seen through the lens of frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.
Season 3 will take place on November 12, 2026, a day after Veterans Day and a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving.
Deadline recently reported the series added seven actors to its recurring cast for Season 3, which included Stephen Chang (Bosch: Legacy, The Last of Us: Part II), Barry Clifton (The Madison, The Thing About Pam), Chris Diamantopoulos (Dark Matter, The Lincoln Lawyer), Lawrence Kao (Criminal, Walker: Independence), Brent Sexton (Deadwood, The Madison), JB Tadena (The Adventures of Cliff Booth, Kung Fu), and Hannah Ware (The First, The One).

Wyle recently teased Season 3 with Deadline, saying the new season “is about doctors benefiting from being patients. We’re going to see that [Robby]’s begun the therapeutic road; it’s had a positive effect. It’s fragile, and it’s not without risk and vulnerability, but it’s at least there’s forward progress.”
The Pitt is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, where JWP is under an overall deal. R. Scott Gemmill created the series and serves as an executive producer alongside John Wells (Animal Kingdom, Shameless, The West Wing, ER), Noah Wyle, Michael Hissrich (Shameless, The West Wing, Third Watch), JWP’s Erin Jontow (Animal Kingdom, Maid, Shameless), Joe Sachs (ER), Simran Baidwan (Manifest, Ordinary Joe, The Good Doctor, Chicago Med), and Eli Attie (The Diplomat, Zero Day, The West Wing).
