For the Giants, cornerback Deonte Banks (calf) and linebacker Micah McFadden (neck) were listed as questionable on the final injury report. That list did not include cornerback Paulson Adebo, who was placed on injured reserve and will miss at least the next four games. He appeared on Monday’s injury report with a knee issue and did not practice.
The veteran cornerback recorded two tackles among 10 defensive snaps on Sunday night against Dallas, and another tackle among eight reps on special teams. Adebo has started 63 games in his career, including 12 in his first season with the Giants in 2025.
In a corresponding move, the Giants signed Nikko Reed, another cornerback, to the active roster from the Chargers’ practice squad.
Reed, 5-10 and 180 pounds, played in five games as an undrafted rookie last season for Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers, primarily contributing on special teams.
Reed played in 49 games (15 starts) with Oregon (2023-24) and Colorado (2021-22). He earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention by coaches and media. He also recorded a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown as a freshman in 2021.
On Monday, the Giants activated wide receiver Braxton Berrios and linebacker Malik Harrison from the practice squad (standard elevation) for the second consecutive game.
For the Rams, two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Puka Nacua, who led the NFL in catches last season, was questionable for Monday night with a hip injury. Safety Kamren Kinchens (hamstring) was ruled out, and wide receiver Jordan Whittington (quad) was doubtful.
On Monday, they elevated inside linebacker Elias Neal from the practice squad.
