LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will help launch the 2026 Battle for Vegas.
The elite demonstration squadron will perform a special flyover at Las Vegas Ballpark at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, according to a spokesperson for the charity softball game.

Onlookers are encouraged to enjoy the flyover from public viewing locations around Southern Nevada while following local traffic and safety guidance.
All flyover times are estimates based on current data, according to the Thunderbirds. Updates will be posted Saturday through the squadron’s social media accounts.
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers and Vegas Golden Knights forward Reilly Smith will each lead a team in the annual Battle for Vegas softball game.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Battle For Vegas Foundation and its community partners, including Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada and Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, among other local organizations.
The Thunderbirds are based at Nellis Air Force Base, currently being rebranded as the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center.
