Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (87) catches a pass during warmups before the Chiefs game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Travis Kelce haters — if there really are any — must be having a bad week.
Not only do the Chiefs have a 5-0 record with Kelce on the cusp of having the most receiving yards of any tight end in NFL history (postseason included), but video emerged from before Sunday’s game that showed Kelce being a great teammate.
Kelce was pumping up the fellow players in the tunnel at Arrowhead Stadium and had a cool moment with another former Cincinnati Bearcat: Cyrus Allen. Allen is a rookie wide receiver who had his first NFL catch on Sunday.
After that, the NFL put out another video that showed Chiefs rookie cornerback Mansoor Delane raving about Kelce.
“He’s got so much aura, bro,” Delane tells a teammate in a mic’d-up video from Sunday’s Chiefs-Chargers game. “Kelce has so much aura. Like, if I had a son, I’d want him to be just like him.”
That’s about as great a compliment as you can give a person and explains why the video went viral.
The video, which went viral, was shown on the “New Heights” podcast and Kelce loved it.
“That’s my dog. Shout-out to 5,” Kelce said, referencing Delane’s jersey number. “Mansoor is funny as (can be) for that.”
