Fantasy Football Outlook: Will Breece Hall Play Week 8?
Here’s the injury outlook for this week for Breece Hall.
Breece Hall (quad) questionable for Sunday
Breece Hall (quad) will remain limited at Friday’s practice and is questionable for Sunday’s matchup with the Raiders.
It looks like Hall will almost certainly be on a limited snap count, even if he is able to return from a four-game absence on Sunday. Braelon Allen seems likely to shoulder the brunt of the backfield load once again for the Jets.

What the Experts Are Saying
- Our injury model gives Breece Hall a 56% chance to play this week.
- Week 8 expert consensus rankings have Hall ranked as the RB19.
- His injury is listed on the injury report as: Quad
- He was a Limited Participant on Wednesday, a Limited Participant on Thursday, and a Limited Participant on Friday.
Breece Hall could retake his commanding lead role this week, but I also could see Braelon Allen mixing in more, and this backfield being more of a committee. Allen was so good while Hall was out it might be tough for Aaron Glenn to put that genie back in the backup bottle. In Weeks 1-2, Hall had a 61.7% snap rate while averaging 22.5 touches and 104.8 total yards. Hall hasn’t been amazing on a per-touch basis this season with only 1.49 yards after contact per attempt and a 14% missed tackle rate. I’m sure those numbers won’t look better this week with Hall coming off an injury, but I could be wrong. The Raiders could also help improve those efficiency numbers. Their run defense has been horrible over their last five games, allowing the third-highest explosive run rate, the highest rushing success rate, the highest yards before contact per attempt, and the third-highest missed tackle rate.
