dpWarriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg didn’t have a great game against the Lakers on Friday night, as he scored a career-low six points and had a -20 +/-.
Perhaps this was because Lendeborg used up all of his good hooping against his girlfriend before the game.
On Thursday, Dub5 Apparel, a clothing brand that Lendeborg and his girlfriend, Tacarra, are heavily affiliated with, posted an Instagram video of them seemingly playing a game of 1-on-1.
But it wasn’t much of a contest, which the 6-foot-9 forward quickly proved when he posterized his girlfriend then had several words to say to her about it afterward.
The two were obviously joking around, and the apparel brand has posted several clips of them hooping together while wearing Dub5 clothes.
This dunk was definitely the most merciless moment of all from the rookie.
The Warriors did not need a good game from Lendeborg to beat the Lakers 112-95 on Friday night.
But they’re going to need the rookie if they’re going to make any noise in the Western Conference this season, as he has already proved to be one of most valuable members of their roster through the season’s first six games.
Because of his success, Yaxel and Tacarra can expect to stay in Golden State for quite a long time.
