dpTickets for Sunrise on the Reaping, the latest movie in the Hunger Games franchise, went on sale this week. Based on the Suzanne Collins novel by the same name, the prequel film follows a young Haymitch Abernathy through his Hunger Games during the Second Quarter Quell. The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping premieres Nov. 20, 2026, so you have about three weeks to refresh your memory of the franchise — then the confirmed Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson cameo will really hit.
Here’s where to stream all the Hunger Games movies for free ahead of the new one.
Where to watch the Hunger Games movies in 2026
After recently departing Netflix, all Hunger Games movies have moved to Disney+ and Hulu (available on both platforms). You can also stream all Hunger Games movies free with ads on Tubi.
The Hunger Games (2012)
Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson step into their roles and the arena for the first time in the franchise’s first film, The Hunger Games. It begins when Katniss volunteers as tribute for her sister Prim and … well, the rest is fandom history. You can stream The Hunger Games on Disney+ and Hulu.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)
Who can forget the iconic screen-ratio shift as we step into the watery Quarter Quell arena alongside Katniss in Catching Fire? Lawrence and Hutcherson return alongside Woody Harrelson, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone and Philip Seymour Hoffman in the second film in the franchise, currently available to stream on Disney+, Hulu and Tubi.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 (2014)
Are we remembering who the real enemy is? You know, that decade where every final movie in a franchise needed to be divided into two? The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 follows Katniss as she navigates a whole new game, outside of the arena: civil war. You can stream it on Disney+, Hulu and Tubi.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 (2015)
Victors and rebels unite to assassinate President Snow and win the war in the final chapter of the original Hunger Games saga, which you can stream on — you guessed it — Disney+, Hulu and Tubi.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023)
This Hunger Games prequel explores the origins of President Snow, years before he comes into power in Panem, when he was just a teen living in the post-war Capitol, serving as a mentor to Lucy Gray Baird in the 10th annual Hunger Games.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (Nov. 20, 2026)
This upcoming prequel follows Haymitch Abernathy on his journey as a tribute in the 50th Hunger Games — aka the Second Quarter Quell. Joseph Zada and Mckenna Grace star alongside Ralph Fiennes, Jesse Plemons, Maya Hawke and Elle Fanning. Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson are confirmed to return in a flash-forward. Tickets to see Sunrise on the Reaping in theaters are available now.
